Margaret Turner grew up on the beach.   Literally.  After college she adopted a nomadic way of life and “there’s everywhere but home” attitude.  NYC, Austin, Houston, an Acting Career, and a MBA from Rice University, all lead her exactly where she had been running from – back home.  That therapeutic salt air soothed her ambitious bones, and she finally relaxed.  Enough to listen to her true calling.  She found herself shelling on her favorite islands: Wrightsville Beach, Masonboro Island, and Bald Head Island, NC.  Inspired by the shells she collects, Margaret began designing scarves.  From the shell, to the fabric, to the Cut and Sew, each piece is 100% North Carolina born and bred, just like Margaret.  Who finally knows, you can always come home.  And, be a success anywhere you can relax enough to truly find and drive your entrepreneurial spirit.
